SINGAPORE: India's Defence Secretary Pradeep Kumar called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean at the Ministry of Defence on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr Kumar, who is on a visit to Singapore from March 21 to 23, also co-chaired the 7th India-Singapore Defence Policy Dialogue with Permanent Secretary (Defence) Chiang Chie Foo.
Mindef said the annual Defence Policy Dialogue, established under the India-Singapore Defence Cooperation Agreement signed in October 2003, serves as a forum for both countries to oversee and advance bilateral defence relationship.
Defence officials also discussed areas of cooperation and strategic developments of mutual interest.
As part of his visit, Mr Kumar also visited the Information Fusion Centre at the Changi Command and Control Centre, and Headquarters Armour at Sungei Gedong.
Mindef stressed that Mr Kumar's visit underscored the warm defence relationship between Singapore and India.
